When asked to do a commission by a lovely young lady going through a pretty poopy time in her life, I jumped at the opportunity. It was a smaller version of a piece I had sold at a previous show, but she was thrilled. When I delivered her painting, she was so touched. As was I. There is no feeling like it when your art literally moves someone to tears.
