Lucky Rabbit & Co.

We are all artists, happily coexisting, doing our own thing in the big yellow house on the market in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia.  -- Lucky Rabbit & Co.
I am extremely proud to have been a part of the launch of this fantastic artist house in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia with my working studio, The Twisted Doorbell Studio Gallery, during the summer of 2017. The Lucky Rabbit & Co. features members who represent a wide variety of mediums. From pottery to leather, painting to music -- this unique milieu reflects the creativity of our thriving arts community.

Built in the late 1800s, this building has served as a home/gallery for the last several years for the creators of Lucky Rabbit Pottery. Now, every room boasts an artist and their own unique creative space -- Lucky Rabbit Pottery & Tile Shop, Atelier 1605, Tartan Wave, Dan Froese Photography, musician Scott Williams.

So excited to be represented by 14 Bells Fine Art Gallery in Halifax!

14 Bells Fine Art Gallery is in the historic Hydrostone Market, 5523 Young St, steps away from Fort Needham Park. The gallery supports contemporary Canadian artists and brings you pieces that are high quality, smart and engaging. Most of the gallery artists are from Nova Scotia with a sprinkling of painters from other parts of Canada. The subject matter, size and style of the work varies greatly on the bright walls of the 1400 sq ft space.  The work is high quality but priced reasonably.

I am so honoured to be hanging out with so many talented Canadian artists.

Pre-cut Russian Birch Panels & Cradled Panels Now Available

16/3/2017

As an artist, I would often find it inconvenient (and expensive) to procure pre-cut birch panels for my artwork, so I decided to produce my own. I am now pleased to offer them for sale to other artists and art groups within the Annapolis Valley...at very competitive prices!

Locally handcrafted. Convenient.

Professionally cut, these high quality, non-gessoed panels offer a sturdy working surface for oils, acrylics or encaustics, yet are light weight enough for plein air painting.

Available in standard and custom sizes in 3mm and 6mm thicknesses. Cradle profiles in standard (7/8") or gallery (1-5/8") depths. Delivery available.

For more information on pricing, please contact me.

High quality. Locally supplied. Artist driven.

The Firefly Makery in Bridgetown, NS holds a very special place in my heart. Not only were they instrumental in our family moving to this amazing town but owner Olivia Wakefield, and her fearless sidekick Chantelle Web, have been completely supportive, kind and welcoming; both with my art career and our new lives in Nova Scotia. To show how much this has meant to me, I was determined to have the Makery be the venue to launch my first showing in this amazing province —  with love and gratitude.

So I am pleased to announce my first solo art show in Nova Scotia will run for the month of February 2017 at the Firefly Makery, 29 Queen Street, Bridgetown, NS open Monday to Friday from 10AM-4PM.

MEET THE ARTIST: 16 February 2017 from 7PM-9PM. Be sure to stop by and say hello!

Exciting times and nothing but clear sailing ahead!
