The Twisted Doorbell Studio GalleryThe Twisted Doorbell Studio Gallery is the working gallery of Nova Scotia-based artist Lisa-Maj Roos with a special focus on urban and industrial landscape, portraitures in oil and encaustic artwork.
The gallery is housed in one of the most unique houses in Bridgetown, NS. The wooden two and a half storey American Foursquare-style home was constructed in the early 1900s by Henry Brandon Hicks and has undergone extension renovations in recent years. We are only the third owners in its century-long history. It boasts a large, welcoming veranda; a beautiful, grand staircase; and, of course, the original "twisted doorbell". The Twisted Doorbell Studio Gallery has been open since 2016. The gallery is open happily by appointment. |
